  among the highest in North Carolina to retain and recruit

  great educators

 

3. Public Safety, Emergency Response Cyber

Public Services
Support county control of the 911 Center based on

   logistics and proximity to first responders
• Improve coordination with Fayetteville City and

   municipal first responders
• Explore an Elite Cyber Public Services Unit (city-

   operated) to help residents and small businesses with

   cyber fraud, identity theft, and digital safety

 

4. Fiscal Responsibility & Smart Budgeting

• Transparent, plain-language budgets residents can

   understand
• Common-sense spending checks and balances with

  oversight for major expenditures
• Enforced project completion dates with penalties

  reinvested into youth programs and county

  beautification

 

5. Inclusive Economic Development

Support small and minority-owned businesses
• Workforce training tied to real local jobs
• Countywide growth that benefits every community—not

  just select areas

 

6. Housing, Infrastructure & Quality of Life

• Expand affordable and workforce housing options
• Improve roads, transit access, utilities, drainage, and

  neighborhood resilience
• Plan growth with community input and without

  displacement

7. Youth, Veterans & Family Wellness

• Invest in youth mentorship and prevention programs
• Strengthen access to veteran services and benefits

   navigation
• Support mental health resources and family-centered

   services

 

8. Elders & Seniors

• Prioritize dignity, access, and aging-in-place initiatives
• Make county services easier to navigate and more

   responsive
• Honor legacy while meeting modern needs
